1. The Arena – Capacity: 9 million
The Arena, also called the Redemption Camp Arena, is the biggest church auditorium in Nigeria. It is located in the Redemption Camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
This auditorium can hold over 9 million people during major events. However, the RCCG, founded in 1952, has grown over the years.
As the church’s congregation expanded, they built the Arena to accommodate large gatherings to host annual conventions, special services, and community events.
Also, the Arena combines beauty and functionality. Its seating capacity is massive, and the design provides comfort and spaciousness for worshippers. The structure includes overflow areas and other facilities to handle large crowds.

2. Hand of God Cathedral – Capacity: 120,000
The Hand of God Cathedral, located in Igwuruta, Rivers State, Nigeria, is the headquarters of Salvation Ministries, led by Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
This church building is one of the largest church auditoriums in the world, with a capacity of 120,000 people. Its design shows the church’s mission to bring God’s kingdom to Earth.

3. The Ark – Capacity: 109,000
The Ark, an ambitious project by the Living Faith Church Worldwide (also known as Winners Chapel), is set to become one of the largest church auditoriums in the world, with a capacity of 109,000 seats.
This project began in March 2021, with Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, leading the effort. The estimated total cost of the project is about N160 billion (around $200 million).
Instead of asking church members for donations, the church is funding the project through its reserves and investments.
Around N45 billion has been released so far to start the construction. The Ark was initially called the “Faith Theatre” in 2015, but it was later renamed to “The Ark.”
It will not only be a place for worship but also include a 24-floor Mission Tower to serve as the church’s international headquarters. As of early 2024, the basement is completed and can hold up to 330 cars.
The Mission Towers are already up to the seventh floor, with a total of twelve floors planned. In short, the construction is progressing well, and it will soon be a grand place for worship.
4. Glory Dome – Capacity: 100,000

The auditorium is the international headquarters of the Champions Royal Assembly, a megachurch founded by Prophet Joshua Iginla in 2006.

The Deeper Life Conference Center (DLCC) is the ninth Nigeria’s largest church auditorium, with a seating capacity of 30,000. It is a part of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, founded by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi.
However, the construction of DLCC started in 2001, driven by Pastor Kumuyi’s vision to create a large space for church growth.
The center was officially opened in 2002 during the Success Academy for Youths (SAY) event. It was designed with nine main auditoriums in a semi-circular formation, a youth camp, and a children’s camp.
There are also well-maintained roads and landscaping around the complex. DLCC has accommodation, water treatment, sewage treatment, and standby power generators. It also has a cafeteria, exhibition center, and plenty of parking space.
10. Noah’s Ark Auditorium – Capacity: 10,000
Noah’s Ark Auditorium, located in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, is the tenth biggest church auditorium in the region. It is the main building for the Full Life Christian Centre, which was founded by Reverend Ntia I. Ntia in June 2000.
In 2008, they bought land on Nsikak Eduok Avenue and built the auditorium, originally designed for 4,000 seats. However, due to the increasing congregation, the seating capacity was later expanded to 10,000.
The design of the auditorium is inspired by Noah’s Ark, and It has comfortable seating. The auditorium also hosts events, including the annual Gathering of Warriors Convention, which attracts thousands of people, as well as regular Sunday services.
