Which Local Government Area Is The Largest In Kaduna State By Population?
Zaria Local Government Area (LGA) is the largest in Kaduna State by population. In 2022, it was estimated to have about 601,300 people living there. This makes Zaria a major urban center in Kaduna State. The city of Zaria is also the capital of the Zazzau Emirate Council.
Zaria covers around 426.8 square kilometers, giving it a population density of about 1,409 people per square kilometer. However, the population has been growing steadily by about 2.5% each year since 2006, which is due to both natural growth and people moving to the area.

Birnin Gwari is located in the central part of Kaduna State, sharing borders with Zamfara State to the north and Niger State to the west. The landscape of Birnin Gwari is very diverse.
