Who Was The First Governor Of Jigawa State?
Jigawa State, located in northwestern Nigeria, was officially created on August 27, 1991. It was formed from parts of Kano State, and the first Governor of Jigawa State was Ali Sa’ad Birnin-Kudu, who started his term in January 1992.
Ali Sa’ad Birnin-Kudu was a member of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and before he became governor, the state was managed by a military administrator named Olayinka Sule.
