Who Is The Current Minister Of State Federal Capital Territory?
The current Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is Mairiga Mahmud, and she was appointed in August 2023 under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
Mairiga Mahmud is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). This position was created to support the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom. Wike, who used to be the Governor of Rivers State.
However, the purpose of having two ministers is to improve governance and administration in the FCT, which includes Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
